INNESS is situated on a campus of 225 pastoral acres, which includes a 12 room farmhouse hotel, 28 guest cabins, restaurant, event barn, a 9-hole golf course, sporting outfitter, two swimming pools, tennis courts, walking trails, a retail home and farm shop, as well as an organic farm and orchard.

Responsibilities

INNESS is seeking experienced, reliable Housekeepers to help clean and maintain guest rooms, cabins and common areas. Job duties include, but are not limited to:
  • Thoroughly and efficiently clean guest rooms and cabins according to the standards and demands of the hotel, under the direction of the Housekeeping Manager or Supervisor
  • Strip vacated guest rooms of dirty linens, trash, and glassware
  • Make up beds, replace linens and towels, replenish toiletries and guest amenities
  • Thoroughly clean and sanitize all room and bathroom fixtures including toilets, showers, tubs, tiles, sinks, counters etc.
  • Dust/vacuum/mop floors and surfaces as needed to maintain impeccable standards of cleanliness.
  • Perform daily service of occupied guest rooms and common areas according to the standards of the property.
  • Wash, dry, fold, and iron- as needed- any and all items as assigned by Housekeeping Manager
  • Keep supply areas, products, and equipment well-stocked and organized
  • Communicate with Housekeeping Manager any issues found in room, i.e. damage to any fixtures or surfaces, hardware, appliances, etc. so that they can be addressed by maintenance team.
  • Must use proper cleaning and chemical products as instructed by Housekeeping Manager
  • Complete any cleaning tasks as directed by Housekeeping Manager
  • Follow all protocols for documenting items left by guests or found on property.

Skills & Qualifications

  • Be able to communicate effectively in English
  • Maintain a neat appearance and follow all uniform guidelines
  • Must be able to work on your feet and be able to lift 50+ lbs safely
  • Must follow all prescribed standards and safety protocols
  • Must have reliable transportation
  • Weekends and holidays required, some time spent outdoors year-round moving between guest cabins required.

Job Type: Part-time

Salary: From $18.00 per hour
