Responsibilities

Assist with and coordinate the Human Resources policies and programs, Including but not limited to,

  1. Assist with recruiting and staffing from internal and external sources, including job postings, pre-employment interactions, applicant tracking, distributes job postings,  supports logistics of scheduling career fairs and info sessions
  2. Maintain records and files in accordance with state and federal laws
  3. Process Human Resources paperwork in a timely manner
  4. Welcome and assist with new employee orientation and on-boarding process
  5. Service fellow employees with payroll questions, help resolve pay questions. 
  6. Respond to and route employee questions and concerns 
  7. Support employee recognition activities
  8. Contribute to and maintain accurate HRIS data entry and payroll detail
  9. Prepare various reports as required
  10. Educate employees regarding company benefits
  11. Assist with the administration of leaves of absence and other time-off events
  12. Perform general office administrative work
  13. Maintains confidentiality with all HR information
  14. other activities, as assigned

Skills & Qualifications

A strong candidate for this position may have;

  1. A strong desire to learn, and grow. Candidate needs to demonstrate desire to be open to new approaches and the ability to evolve
  2. Ability to use personal computer and strong knowledge of software applications including but not limited to MS Office
  3. There will be a need to interact with a number of different systems. Tech savvy is necessary.
  4. Ability to maintain confidentiality of information
  5. Ability to communicate in a clear concise manner
  6. Ability to effectively multi task
  7. Attention to detail and accuracy
  8. Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
  9. Working knowledge of HRMS database systems (Paychex system or similar software)
  10. Ability to work under very limited supervision
